I wish... but then again I don't...

Oh no! This is the time where I really wish there were more hours in a day... say 48 hours?

So much to do... yet so little time!

Having Tea in The Yellow Submarine...

Yes... Having Tea actually from a Yellow Submarine... but a submerging Yellow Submarine Tea inffuser...
How cute and ingenious is that!

One of the great stuff from Monkey Business.

Home Sydney Home...

To Me-self: a Warm Welcome Back!
(maybe I am fitting in better and more at home is Aus)
To all : Been missing for awhile... but not lost :)

We had a good time in ever-changing Singapore. A lot... and I really mean A LOT has changed especially down town Orchard Road! Buildings pulled down and New ones seem to grow so quickly from out of the ground. Sometimes it does feel that one can't really seem to keep up with this vibrant city. Guess that's what I love 'bout this city...

Another change I've noticed... which REALLY annoys me! My waist size has gone up! I haven't really gone up a size... not quite there... but I seem to be in between sizes! Argh! What can be any worse than that? Clothes in Far East Plaza are basically a 'No go Zone'... seeing that only people like my sister who are paper-thin gets to wear the range. (sense some form of Jealousy, people??) But to justify the increment in my waist... NIKITA... so I guess all is good then.

Little Nikita spent her first Chinese New Year... meeting family and new cousins! Of course not forgetting the highlight of CNY! Ang Paos ... (Yes... we, her parents did breakeven...maybe even making a little bit more in receiving Red Packets on behalf of her! Thanks to her Popo... hehehe) Food was superbly yummylious... who can ever complain about that in Singapore. Cheap and good! That's all that matters. And of course, easily available. Anyway... here's a pic of us celebrating our first Chinese New Year together.
(To keep Mr M's identity a secret... I've put on a mask... )

Greetings from Singapore!

Hey Everyone!
We've jet off to Sunny Island Singapore for our first family holiday!
Here to celebrate Nikita's Full Month celebration and also Chinese New Year...
we've been having a good time and eventful holiday so far. Our Baby 'Jetsetter' is doing well, traveling on planes as though she's done it a million times before. Honestly, that came as a relief to us - with her ex & current flight attendant parents who enjoy the traveling lifestyle... One day shopping in NYC, to taking a dip in the Blue Grotto of Capri... or maybe even getting hot and sticky in the
Food Markets of Asia...
we can't wait as she grows and joins us in our travels.
Anyway, Singapore has changed so much! And I'm loving every bit of it... this is the time I ask myself why I am living at the other end of the world?? Hahaha I do like Australia... but for different reasons.
Singapore is Shopping Galore! Everything and anything is at your feet!
Love! Love! Love!
I've found bountiful of pretties that I'll like to share with the world.
That will come in good time...
You'll just have to wait!

Sweet Sweet Valentine...

Valentine's Day isn't far along...
and guess what I found @ Williams-Sonoma

Cookie Cutters!
But not just any shape cutters...
They're Message-in-a-Cookie Cutter!

Great for personalised messages for our love ones.

Wish I could some bake some for Mr M...
with maybe our very much talked-about dream
KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer...

But FIRST! we need our kitchen built... :(

In Love with Nikita...

I'm loving her more and more each day...

She's really cute... responding with cheeky smiles and 'cooos' when u call her name...

We get heaps of little gifts from her...
like bulks of wet nappies and 'perfumed' fluffies...
but its all good!

... Hugs & Kisses...

New Year with an Overbaked Bun...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May the New Year bring
Nice + Pleasant surprises for all!

Mr. M & I had a simple celebration to welcome our 2010. With Bubba inside the oven, happily overbaking herself... we thought it'll still be best we avoid the crowds,
just in case she decides to pull a stunt on us.

For the past 4 years since I've been here, NYE's celebrations were always held overseas... This year, me being 41 weeks heavy and still counting - we're here in Sydney, enjoying the World famous Harbour Bridge Fireworks for the first time together. Armed with Oportos, sweets treats and Champagne, plus Great views from my workplace! and a Majestic display of fireworks...
We welcomed our New Year with Good cheer!

I'll upload some beautiful shots of the harbour taken by Melia, maybe sometime later today.

Meanwhile, I found this clip of Kogepan (a Burnt Red Bean Bun)... Cute.
