** I've been trying to work my illustration skills on drawing people... and I find it really hard all the time... I've looked at many illustration books to see 'minute' sketches of some other illustrators which seems so sketchy and easy... but yet still looks good! Maybe I'm just too critical of myself...

Anyway... Pretty illustrations... I like it!!!

Made a recent holiday trip back to homeland Singapore and managed to fix some of the food cravings I had over the past year of being away. Here are some of my favourite dishes and I’m sure Amanda can vow that they are all yummy! So if you managed to stop by in Singapore at all, make sure you don’t miss out on all the sumptuous food spread. You can be sure that food can be found at ‘almost’ every street and corner of the island….And the best part: very affordable prices!!

Though Amanda and I are in Sydney, Australia now, Singapore will always be a cornerstone of who we are and will always be close to our hearts despite the distances. We can't wait for the next trip back! Woot!

Gotta love Top Gear Oz commercial...

After lunch today, colleagues and I were talking about Top Gear hosts, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond; and their witty sense of humor...  The guys are in town hosting Top Gear Live Australia - apparently 'the most spectacular LIVE motoring theatre show in the universe' starting tonight till the 8th at the Acer Arena. I'm sure it would be great to be there... but tickets are a little too pricey for me.

Anyway, when they came up in our conversation, the first thing that came to mind was the commercial aired last year promoting the magazine. Before you watch the commercial, check out what RTA came up with...

When I saw this commercial, I thought it was another RTA commercial... until the guy in the car stuck out his...

When you say "Vampire"...

I think Twilight... I dream Twilight... I fantasize Twilight... and Edward Cullen... hahaha

These books by Stephenie Meyer captivates the imaginations of many, mine's no exception... the attraction to a Vampire like Edward Cullen, his super power abilities and the great magnetism of his charisma (* which I thought was portrayed really well by Robert Pattinson in the movie). Of course... The Cullens are 'Vegetarians' which delightfully makes them or rather, Edward, perfect for us, Humans. 

Besides the story revolving around romance, I'm a sucker for legends and fantasy with different characters, which makes these books more than perfect for me. I don't know how else I'll be able to convince you to read the book... I could go on and on... You just gotta read it! Anyway.. here's the Twilight cast photoshoot done by Vanity Fair. Woot!

Lucky Fii, she's gone on holidays back to Singapore... so she only had to put up with me and the Twilight blabber for a week...

Paris-based designer Jay Ahr aka Jonathan Riss (His real name) — has been building a steady buzz for his beautiful dresses, accessories, wedding gowns. He is obsessed with dresses and I have to say I share his passion along with most girls!

He has only 2 stores: 1 in Paris & the other in New York so if you are ‘dying’ to get one of his stunning items, I guess u need to make a trip down to one of these stores to get them! Haha. Check His website out!. But there is not much about him on there, just the few pics that I have put up here which are from his site. It’s kind of his way of saying: “Through the appreciation of my work, you will know who I am”. Hehe
